Do you want to be supported as you undertake the vital and very human project of exploring and growing?
Casey Edwards, LMSW (he/they)
I’m Casey. I'm a white, queer, gender-expansive native West Coaster with a background in writing and theater, which has given me a deep interest in the human experience and the ways we endeavor to become our best selves. I was drawn to therapy in order to support people in discovering and using their strengths to reach that goal. I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds and identities but especially strive to provide an affirming space for LGBTQ+ folks to gain renewed self-compassion and authenticity by better understanding themselves and how past traumas and negative messaging might be impacting one's sense of self and possibility.
Our work together might look at challenges related to sexuality, gender identity and expression, grief and loss, life transitions, coming out, or self-esteem, with the goal of improving relationships—to yourself, to others, and to the narrative of your own life. You can expect a collaborative atmosphere where trust, safety, and curiosity prevail.
I’m an enthusiastic explorer, both within the city and outside of it, whether that's a hike in the mountains or a bike ride on a rail trail. If a dog crosses my path on any of my wanderings, I always say hello.
